WHO WE ARE

Deva Foundation – Mission for mankind is a registered charitable Trust. Founded in year 2010, it was established with the key objectives to serve mankind and empower the underprivileged. The main areas of work and focus are mental health and related issues (in particular women mental health), community health, women empowerment (Vocational), education, researches and support for victims of natural calamities.

Trust was founded by Late Sri Dr. M.R. Jhanwar. He was the founder chairman and managing trustee. After his demise in year 2021, Dr. Venu Gopal Jhanwar (Psychiatrist) to co-work as managing trustee, has taken the foundation to new heights. Today Trust has been able to reach out to large parts of society, serve the people in need; assisting them to attain empowerment and the work done is being well recognized. For last few years it has been supporting young researchers, conducting workshops and CMEs, distributing free medications, and providing goods of needs to people affected by natural calamities like flood, earthquake, avalanche etc.

Since its inception, foundation has been tirelessly working to achieve its objectives. Today apart from offering regular social welfare services to people in need, foundation is successfully running five dedicated to mankind flagship projects namely:

ANVITA – One of the largest Center for Psychosocial rehabilitation & Wellness.

SAMBAL – Vocational Training center for women empowerment.

COMAP – Community Outreach Mentalhealth Awareness Program.

NIRMALA - Chain of rural Medical clinics.

MOBILE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES– Providing state of the art mental health services in side comfort environment in the large bus to reaching out to most remote areas.
