Vocational Training center for women empowerment
Foundation’s another thrust and focus is women empowerment. Women in our country are still the victims of orthodox social system and unhealthy environment. In order to strengthen women from underprivileged section, Deva Foundation’s flagship initiative – SAMBAL, a vocational training center was started in 2012. With the aim of empowerment, women and young girls are put through structured courses of mehendi, stitching, sewing, motor driving, jewelry making, wax work, art & craft, paper quilling, computer training, tally, English speaking, gardening and karate classes.
